so anyways Ive been using fl studios for about a month, and i don't get that many listens or reviews.
my whole purpose of uploading my songs to new-grounds was for feedback to help me achieve a greater edge in making music.Although i get some feedback, its not much. i would like if something was to be done about the zero bombers! when one of my songs had a high score, the listens went up and i was getting some feedback but then it went from a 4.58 to a 3.11......i don't think it deserved that plus he didn't even give me any tips to make it better. come on people.it would be nice if you could only rate anything under a three only if you left a review telling why, and giving tips on how to make it better.don't say I'm begging because I'm offering a solution.if you agree leave a comment :D

Honestly since the voting system is 0-5 making 2.5 to 3.0 the middle, a 3.11 is not bad. so I really do not see anything to complain about.
Also if you have less than 200 votes, don't brag about any score. Even at 200 means that hardly any one has heard the song seeing as Ng has over 1 million registered users.
Lastly if you really want feedback, only about 1% of the reviews left on submissions in the portal are worth anything. If you want real feedback then go to the Audio Forum. Talk to the regulars there and you'll find it immensely more helpful.

I hope your songs get more listens in the future and retain their scores after hitting 200 votes.
The situation of getting better advice from the forums rather than the portal is pretty much the same for the Art Portal/Forum

We all have to stick together and give honest and constructive reviews of each others work - not everyone is ParagonX9 from the beginning and its the up building advice that we give and receive that helps us improve - assuming we're willing to listen to it of course. I understand your plight as an artist, so I'll check up every now and then on your work and give it a vote according to how I like it.
If you feel like collaborating or doing the same let me know, so far your WIP stuff seems pretty solid.

These guys speak wise words, although I do understand what you speak of aswell . It does become a broken hope when people really like your music, but then arrogant people who seem to have nothing els ebetter to do turns your world upside down . Making you work even harder . All I can say is, I compose the weirdest music, and I know in my heart that these people will hate it more then the rest of this stuff, because it's too complex, and different . Just remember, hardwork always pays off, you just have to aquire the right spirit, and strength man . Never give up, us humans were here to become stronger everyday, never let the shadows of people's souls disable your wishes in music . KEEP AT IT . Everyone can make something, but also anyone can make shit . You have to devote yourself to the inner life of talent, and notions . I hope this helps man .

yes,this is true.they do make me work harder,and for that i am grateful.but it is the feedback that i need to take a step up.so far Ive come all this way with only my ideas and what Ive taught myself.I'm also glad because i know I'm original in some cases but a little tip here and there goes a long ways.
